Next book: “Serve God, Save the Planet”

Concerned with rising gas and food prices – and what that means? You’re not alone! With utility bills soaring high, this summer might be a good time to take inventory of the way you and I live, and ask ourselves some difficult questions – with the help of a guide who has gone before us. The next book we’re reading is “Serve God, Save the Planet” by Matthew Sleeth, MD. Dr. Sleeth was chief of the medical staff at a large hospital, when – concerned with the rise in chronic diseases he witnessed – he began to ask questions. Turning to God and scripture, he and his family began to make some major life changes. He invites us on that same journey! What are some changes you and I can make now – not just for the sake of our finances and health, but also to partner with God in healing a wounded world? Come join the discussion! Copies of the book are available in the bookstore.
