The Learning Ministry invites people to experience and share God’s grace through a variety of studies that lead us into deeper relationships with God and each other.

Wednesday nights at Chapelwood are filled with fun, food, fellowship and faith development opportunities for all ages. We begin with a delicious, affordable dinner (5:30 - 7:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall) and disperse to a wide array of choices for spiritual uplift and study . Nursery care, children’s and youth groups are available.

Circle of Friends for Special Needs Teens and Adults – These two groups meet for dinner and small groups for drama, Bible study, art, drums, or homeroom. The Story - The Story takes the Bible’s narrative and weaves it together in a condensed, chronological way for modern-day readers. This interactive study is facilitated by Christian Washington and Teresa Rossy. A Theological Buffet - Looking for something rich but shorter in length? Al Hoppe and Bob Johnson will lead five different short studies on Wednesday nights.This is wonderful for people who travel or have family commitments during certain times of the year, but don’t want to miss out on a weekday study. Wednesday Wisdom for Parents - The Parent Ministry is offering several opportunities for parents to come together and learn about important topics concerning their children and families. Each session will be offered twice – at lunch and in the evenings, so parents can choose the most convenient time for their schedule. All classes will be held in YB200. The Table Wednesday Life Group - Are you looking for a welcoming group in their 20s and 30s to discuss a book of the Bible, or a biblically-themed book? Women’s Community Group - We gather each week to share life and the ways we see God at work around us. Our study time varies--from reflection about the prior week’s sermon to a topical book with Scripture. Every week we share prayer requests and pray for one another. All women are welcome! Children’s Wednesday Night Bible Study - While parents are participating in a Wednesday night Bible study, elementary-age children have the opportunity to participate in a study geared just for them. We will uncover the truth about who God is through the exploration of the Bible and work on building a relationship with him today.
