Heart
An important part of discovering your S.H.A.P.E. is understanding your heart, the emotional, volitional, ethical, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions. When you have a heart for an area of ministry, you are more enthusiastic and motivated to serve. Frederick Buechner says, “the place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” Heart is the realm of our “deep gladness.” Discovering your heart enables you to be both fruitful and fulfilled in your ministry.

- Prayerfully consider your answers to the questions.
- Complete the assessment on your own.
- There are no right or wrong responses.
- Don’t be concerned about “whether” you can do it or “how” it can be done.
- Complete the assessment as if you have no obstacles to fulfilling your heart’s desire.
