A unique and exciting gymnastics program open to all Toddlers thru Kindergarten-aged students, Tumble Tykes is designed to teach gross motor skills and movement acquisition through basic gymnastics. Classes take place in a unique, fun and safe environment — a custom-designed Tumble Tykes padded school bus. Classes are offered at both the non-structured level (emphasizing large muscle motor skills and coordination) for ages three and younger, and a more structured level for ages three to six (emphasizing a variety of gymnastics skills). Thirty-minute lessons are offered once a week for the younger children and in 45-minute sessions for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children.
Tumble Tykes hires enthusiastic teachers with backgrounds in early childhood education and or/teaching. Two instructors, trained in CPR and First Aid, teach skills, lead imaginative games, and provide report cards every other month, detailing the progress of the children.
