Chapelwood is actively involved in soccer development and league play in the Spring Branch area. We have children practicing and playing year round. Coaching for the children is provided by Chapelwood UMC but there is a great need for adult leadership. Being the lead adult for teams during games, providing transportation, and providing snacks are some of the responsibilities of this role. However the biggest need is adults who want to mentor and develop positive and nurturing relationships with the kids. This is a chance to provide more than just soccer to kids who could really use an extra adult influence in their lives. Practices are weekly and games vary depending on tournament play, etc. Please contact us if you have interest in using sports as a means to impact the lives of young men and women.
