Spring Branch Blessings in a Backpack has made some exciting changes! We are now part of the Houston Food Bank’s Backpack Buddy program, which means that our schools receive food bags already assembled each week—no more buying groceries and assembling the bags ourselves. 

But, we still need your help making sure the students at risk of hunger receive groceries for the weekend.  We have opportunities Thursday and Friday mornings at our schools.  

  We currently serve children at risk at three elementary schools:  Westwood, Spring Branch, and Woodview. We deliver food for 700 children on 38 Thursdays or Fridays during the school year to each of these schools.  We are asking for volunteers to deliver the food bags to each campus every week throughout the school year.
