Newspring operates a multi-faceted visual arts program for at-risk children and youth in Spring Branch. Activities include career mentoring, a rigorous art curriculum, student art sales, field trips and personal mentors. Newspring's main studio on Long Point is complemented by four satellite locations, including one at The Branch and another at the Spring Branch Family Development Center. Volunteers are needed to assist our art teachers with snacks and personal encouragement to the students. No artistic talent needed! Just a love of kids whose potential has been overlooked and who need a smile and a boost of self-esteem.
