Say Yes to the Prom Dress is a community service outreach event to ensure every SBISD high school senior girl who wants to attend prom has what she needs for that special night. We are also collecting short dresses for middle schoolers to attend their 8th grade dance. Chapelwood collects dresses, shoes, jewelry, purses and accessories each spring through donation drives and then hosts an event where girls can “shop” for all their Prom needs. This year’s shopping event will take place on March 25 in the Upper Room which will be transformed into a shopping boutique complete with dressing rooms and personal shoppers.  Donations of gently used or  new short and long formal dresses, shoes, and accessories can be delivered to Chapelwood starting in March. We will also be needing volunteers to help set up the boutique and work the event to help the girls find their perfect dress and accessories.  There are so many opportunites to be a part of this truly uplifting event.
