Join us on Sunday mornings down in the children’s basement for large group lessons and small group break out.
Kids in the 4th and 5th Grade have a number of great opportunities. There is a 5th Grade Retreat in the fall. Also, 4th and 5th graders are eligible to serve as Acolytes in 8:25 and 11:10 Sanctuary Worship.
4th and 5th Grade meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45am in the Children's Basement. This is a super fun area for our 4th and 5th graders with ping pong tables, foosball and more. It's a great space to enjoy hanging out with friends, worshiping together and growing in faith. We encourage church members and parents to get involved by volunteering on Sunday mornings.
Beginning in January 2020, our 4th and 5th graders will attend 9:45am worship on the first Sunday of each month. Families are encouraged to worship and take communion together as the children learn more about what it means to actively engage in worship services. Families will also be invited to assist in serving communion. As we strive to create more fully engaged disciples, attending and participating in worship, together with missional serving opportuities throughout the year, are key milestones in our children's spiritual growth.
Children in 4th-6th grades are invited to serve as acolytes for the 8:25 and 11:10 sanctuary services.
Allison Johnson is the age level director for this group. On Sunday mornings, she is with the 3rd graders.
