For children ages 3 months to Preschool

We are committed to providing a Christ-centered, safe, clean, and engaging on-site childcare facility for families, groups, and organizations associated with Chapelwood. As we recognize the importance of early childhood development in regard to Faith, Christ, and the Church the nursery looks to provide for the childrens' physical, social emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs in hopes they find coming to church an enjoyable experience. Above all, we want to shower the children with God's love, attention, and affection.

Hours and Location

Baptism is one of two sacraments offered by the United Methodist Church (the other being communion). In a sacrament, God uses common elements , with baptisms He uses water, as a vehicle for unconditional love. Baptism is administered by the church as the Body of Christ and is the act of God through the grace of Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit. In infant baptism God claims the child with divine grace as baptism is an outward visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace. Baptism joins us to Christians everywhere and is an intentional act of the parents and the church.
