While I agreed to teach because I thought I "should," I've gotten so much out of the experience. The 5th-grade curriculum is excellent and extremely applicable to the age group. Wendy and I have found that leading a Sunday School class for young children is highly rewarding. The lasting impact adult teachers can make upon the spiritual development of young people cannot be overstated. And facilitating scriptural and philosophical conversation among children allows them to feel comfortable tackling these topics openly with each other and adults.
