It's that time of year again...EGG STUFFIN' PARTIES! Our Easter Egg Hunt is only a few months away and we're already getting started on stuffing our thousands of Easter eggs. Our shoutout this week goes to none other than the 5th Grade Girls Bible Study from Frostwood Elementary led by Sarah Zaozirny. Sarah, a regular 5th grade volunteer on Sunday mornings and member of Chapelwood since 2007 led the girls in a lesson about using their hands to serve God and others. The Frostwood 5th Grade Girls Bibles Study volunteered their time and stuffed Easter eggs as a service project. Part of what we do in Children's Discipleship is teach our children the importance of serving, a way of giving back to our community whether it be for major events like our Egg Hunt or helping with our local food pantries. In fact, did you know that Chapelwood helped feed 17,000 families in 2019? Wow! Thank you Sarah for teaching our children what it means to be the hands and feet and thank you girls for your help! We appreciate you so much! If you are wanting to throw your own Egg Stuffin' Party please contact Betsy Humphrey at [email protected] we can provide you with all your egg stuffin' needs! #raisingagenerationinfaith #wearechapelwood #shoutoutwednesday
