Scripture Scholars and Leaders
Third graders dive into scripture study and learn to recite all 66 books of the Bible. They also receive their very own Adventure Bible in our special Bible presentation. On the second Sunday of each month, they have the chance to read scripture during worship.
Sunday School
At Chapelwood, our 3rd graders are invited to dive deeper into their faith and grow in community. Check-in for Kindergarten through 5th Grade students happens between 9:45 and 10:00 AM in the Children's Basement, with sign-in sheets specific to each grade. After a spirited group worship, 3rd graders head up to CB 208 and CB 209 on the second floor for interactive activities that help them explore God’s love and truths. Check-out is at 11:00 AM in their Small Group rooms, where parents reconnect with their children after a morning of fun, learning, and fellowship.
Worship Opportunity for Third Graders

Third Graders are offered an extraordinary opportunity. On the second Sunday of each month, they are invited to read scripture during all three worship services! Our hope is to recognize how the children are growing in their faith and encourage them as they learn to serve their church.
