7th- 12th grade students on Sunday mornings (9:45 Greenbay) will have three different worship formats over the course of the year and they are; Youth Service, Common Ground, and Blueprint. Every Sunday morning, we meet in the game room for breakfast and fellowship, then students are dismissed at 9:45 a.m. for worship. Our Youth Service will happen on the majority of Sunday mornings. We worship through song, teaching and prayer stations. Our teachers rotate so that students hear multiple voices and perspectives over the course of the year.
Common Ground is a service for families to worship together. We gather four times within the school year for Common Ground with two times focused on sacraments and two times around natural rhythms of life. We will gather for our second time this school year December 10 for a Family Advent Service. Spring dates are January 7- Celebration of Baptisms, and May 13 - Mother's Day.
The third way we will worship on Sunday mornings is through Blueprint. Blueprint is geared towards specific grade levels for topics and conversation. Over the course of the next six years they will walk through a different topic every year that is important to the life and faith of every believer. Through the year we will meet 10 times. The grade level topics are: 7th Grade - Absolute Basics of Faith, 8th Grade - Pure Life, 9th Grade - Spiritual Gifts, 10th Grade - Questions in our Faith , 11th Grade - United Methodist Beliefs, 12th Grade - College Life 101.
