Community: Sanctuary

7th-12th grade students on Sunday mornings (10:15 am-11:00 am) will be meeting in the Upper Room.

When we gather together we will have time to learn about Jesus, have fun, and grow together with each other We will play a game, have a time of teaching, and break out in small groups for discussion time - so students can grow in thier relationship with God and with one another.

Here are the Lesson Series for the Semester:

Lost and Found

In this 4-week series, we'll explore a series of stories Jesus once told about things that were lost and then got found again. Through those stories, we'll discover that Jesus notices you, values you, welcomes you back when you've strayed, and invites you to the party when others come home.

In this 2-week series, we'll see how Jesus shared the good news with His friends that He really was alive, and that nothing (not even death) could separate them from God’s love — not ever. The same is true for us today and forever. Because the love of Jesus is bigger than our doubts and gives us hope.

In this 4-week series, we'll meet a handful of people from Scripture who each spent a long time waiting on God. From the stories of Abraham and Sarah, Paul and Silas, King David, and Joseph, we'll discover that God has a plan, but we might have to wait for it, and we'll be reminded that, while we're waiting, God is faithful, God is listening, and we should never give up, because God’s not giving up on us.

In this 4-week series, we'll explore the book of Psalms (worship songs to God) as we discover that worship might be bigger than we ever imagined. Maybe worship isn't just an anthem we sing, but an anthem we live, by worshiping with all of creation, worshiping to remember what God has done, worshiping even when it’s difficult, and worshiping together because we’re God’s family.

Back to the Future

In this 4-week series, we'll discover that Jesus’ mission was to set people free and rebuild what has been destroyed — and we can join Him on that mission, in part, by doing justice and remembering all God has done.
