I am so privileged to be a part of the pastoral team and to have the honor of representing Christ to individuals and families as they struggle through the difficult times of life such as hospitalization, losing loved ones, and becoming homebound. I also enjoy being with them during the happy moments of life like weddings, graduations, and major life accomplishments.

The best part of my job:

Is being on this staff and having the privilege to love and server this awesome congregation.

Racing in the Indy 500.

My favorite summer activity:

Fishing.

My favorite cartoon character:

Popeye - for two reasons. We both love spinach, and my wife Norma reminds me a lot of Olive Oyl. I will tell Norma if I want her to know this.

If I could go anywhere in the world for two weeks, it would be:

The Cayman Islands because it is beautiful and they have a sea turtle rehabilitation facility that is amazing.

My favorite hobby:

Restoration of classic and antique cars and trucks. I have a beautifully restored 1955 Thunderbird and I am presently working on a 1955 Ford pick-up which is a radical custom sporting all the features of a late model automobile.

What makes me laugh:

Mostly watching people. It reminds me that I am not the only one in the world who does stupid things.

When I drive, I listen to:

My wife giving me direction and driving advice....NOT! When I'm not listening to my sweet wife I enjoy classic rock and country.
