Footnotes: Major Lessons from Minor Bible Characters

begins Thursdays, April 9, 10:00 a.m., Zoom

Minor characters never have top billing. But have you noticed how their roles can be key to the purpose of the story? It’s the same in the Bible. The very characters who are mere blips on the biblical radar screen have major lessons to teach us. Join other women during April for a unique online experience. The video is available on, access code STRVDN.

Matt Russell is hosting an online Bible Study
"A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Bible"

Fridays at 12:00 p.m. Noon CST.

From Matt: I'm going to try an online study. The text we will look each week will be from the Chapelwood Sanctuary sermon. This week, it’s John 6:16-21. I know the runway is short but I figured this week we could test it with the folks who show! The bar for this deal is just right: show up. That is it. No prior study necessary, no need to be a person of faith or own a Bible, although we will be talking about it! In this fragile time it will be good to hear ancient stories, share life, pray some, laugh some and to be reminded that we are all doing the best we can. You can access on your computer or cell phone.

Connecting with a Class or Group

Many existing classes and groups are continuing to meet via video chat (like Zoom, or Skype). If you have questions about an existing study or group (whether they are meeting digitally, how to get connected) contact Teresa Rossy, She can also help you find a group to join if you are looking for that!
