- About Us
Camp Chapelwood is a five week summer camp for elementary age children, five years old through fifth grade. Campers participate in a variety of activities including gymnastics, self-defense class, crafts, games, cooking and presentations by educational and/or entertaining speakers and groups. Campers may choose which weeks to attend ~ they can come one week or all five.
Camp Chapelwood strives to create a fun, adventurous and wholesome community that fosters godly growth and respect. We offer children an opportunity to spend one or more weeks in a planned program where they can learn new skills, develop new interests and make new friends. Camp is for church members and community friends.
Joanne Buchwald is the Camp Director. All activities are supervised by adult counselors and assisted by high school and college students. All Camp registrations, correspondence, telephone calls and requests for information should be directed to Joanne at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (713) 465-3467 ext. 160. Please leave a message and your call will be returned. Only the Camp Director may fill openings in Camp.
