Prepare-Enrich is a customized couple assessment completed online that identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas in the following categories: communication, conflict resolution, partner style and habits, financial management, leisure activities, sexual expectations, family and friends, relationship roles, health and wellness, and spiritual beliefs, plus some customized questions specific to premarital, remarried, newly and not-so-newlywed couples. The assessment results, when used in conjunction with four to six sessions with a trained facilitator, can help to positively transform relationships.

The results of an assessment provide insights to your relationship. Research has shown the act of taking the P/E assessment improves relationship quality and brings increased awareness across multiple aspects of the relationship.
P/E covers various areas within the relationship including communication, conflict resolution, finances, and spiritual beliefs. In addition, the assessment will explore your personality, family of origin, and relationship dynamics. Over 30 customized categories, such as previous marriage and expecting a child, ensure your experience with your results will feel accurate and relevant to your relationship.
Research has shown that taking the P/E assessment prior to marriage reduces your risk for divorce by 30%.
P/E will help you celebrate your strengths as a couple and use them to gain momentum in the growth areas of your relationship. The assessment primes you to have meaningful conversations as you continue to grow as a couple.
P/E provides skill-building exercises to help you strengthen your relationship. Developing skills such as assertive communication and active listening will allow you to support growth in all areas of your relationship.

I invite persons to step into the GROW portion of Chapelwood’s discipleship pathway by participating in a Bible study, small group, retreat or short-term study. I encourage spiritual growth by equipping leaders, writing curriculum and through living and teaching spiritual disciplines and Scriptural principles.
The best part of my job is getting to know persons from all of Chapelwood’s communities, ages and stages and inviting them to grow in faith along with me.

Enjoying the Gulf Coast beaches and Texas lakes -- boating, sunbathing, swimming and walking/hiking .
Anything except a teacher, which is fairly ironic, considering my calling and work teaching the Bible.
I’d like to be Diane Sawyer for a day. I have a journalism degree and was once a reporter and I admire the way she interviews people with intelligence and compassion. Plus, she’s got wonderful access to newsmakers.
“Oh, Doo, you’re just a big ol’ bear.” Loretta Lynn (Sissy Spacek) to Doolittle Lynn (Tommy Lee Jones) in Coal Miner’s Daughter (It’s her spot-on accent and his growl that makes it such a great scene.)
I have wonderful memories created while visiting both sets of grandparents in Arkansas for extended periods of time at Christmas and during the summer. There was lots of singing, playing, Vacation Bible Schools and love.
II Peter 1:3: His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
