Join us for a unique and powerful six-session course via Zoom that will help participants learn how to listen with empathy, shift their thinking and take actions toward allyship.  Led by TaJuana Antwine, founder and CEO of Mindshift Management LLC, the sessions are designed to be highly interactive and feature a combination of personal stories, discussion and exercises.  Registration fee is $20 per participant.

Session Features:

  • Participants hear stories from a black person about their experiences and are provided the opportunity to speak with me about them
  • Safe space for people to reflect on their own thinking and feelings related to race and the black experience
  • Opportunity for participants to create their own allyship plans based on their learnings from the class
  • Eight pages of resources that participants can use to continue their learning outside of the class

Meet the Instructor:

TaJuana Antwine

TaJuana Antwine is the founder of Mindshift, LLC.  She brings over 20 years of experience in project management, change management, and engineering.  Antwine has provided management consulting for various organizations including clients in oil and gas, manufacturing, renewable energy, information technology and aviation services.  She has managed contracts up to $500 million in organizations ranging in size from less than 1000 to more than 80,000.  As an experienced change management professional, she has helped organizations to plan and implement transformations in strategy, technology, and diversity and inclusion.


  • Week 1 - 2/25: Introducing the course and course creator, listening with empathy
  • Week 2 - 3/4: “The Flag” – The story of the instructor’s complicated relationship with the American flag
  • Week 3 - 3/11: “The Only” – The story of the instructor being the only black manager in a company
  • Week 4 - 3/25: “The Talk” – Having black sons and talking to them about race
  • Week 5 - 4/1: Key terms in Allyship
  • Week 6 - 4/8: Creating an Allyship Plan, discussing key learnings from the course
