Paul's Pastoral Epistles-Apprenticeship or Authoritarianism?
Beginning September 14, we will study the Pastoral epistles, Paul's letters to his colleagues, Timothy and Titus. These letters are different than Paul's letters to the early congregations and are instead his counseling to church leadership. They have been controversial in Christian history, leading to the exclusion of women in ministry and in support of slavery. We will read these letters carefully to recover Paul's intent and to show these letters speak to church leaders today.
Join us at 7 am every Thursday morning in the Fellowship Hall for a donuts, coffee, fellowship and discipleship.
