“I Am Not Ashamed” – A Study of the Book of Romans

When the Apostle Paul pens his letter to the church at Rome, he is hoping to secure their financial support for another missionary journey that will include their region.  And so he lays out for his readers a diagnosis of the human condition and an explanation of the Christian faith.  Unlike Paul’s other letters, Romans is written to a church he did not plant and believers he never met.  Little does he realize at the time that his one-day trip to Rome will be as a prisoner – an apostle in chains.

Join Rev. Tammy Heinrich for a deep dive into Romans as we explore and dissect the rich and complex teachings of the Apostle Paul.  There is no “homework” from week to week, but plenty of opportunities for lively discussion, togetherness and laughter.

The class begins on Monday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. and continues through May.  It will feature a hybrid format – meeting in-person in LC 211-212 and also on zoom.
