Experience your years after 50 as an adventure, filled with new possibilities and purposes!
These are the decades when you can fully realize your hopes and dreams -- the ones from your youth and the ones powered by new ideas and horizons. As we age, there are obstacles that no one feels prepared to handle: difficulties with family; employment; retirement; physical and mental health -- our own and that of those we love.
You are not alone. Carol Greer Dodds and her co-authors wrote the book Beyond to help people find answers and offer options to give direction, motivation, and peace of mind. The later years can be the best years. There is wisdom and guidance available. We need only look for it.
Carol has Chapelwood ties, having joined the church with her parents, Joan and Bob Greer, and her siblings Jim, Mack, and Margaret Greer Sanders. She participated in Wesley Choir, MYF, and Young Life before heading to UT for college. She is delighted to come back and share her journey, wisdom, and book with us. Join us for an interview-style program guided by Teresa Rossy. Books will be available for purchase at the luncheon.
