Manos Juntas (Hands Together) is a ministry of the United Methodist Church of Mexico serving the people and churches of Northeast Mexico since 1992 in Reynosa, Rio Bravo, and Nuevo Progreso.
Ministries are located in numerous churches, two medical clinics, a mobile medical clinic, a children’s home, a day-care center, a kinder/elementary school, and a community center. Ministries of Manos Juntas are directed by Willie Berman, a missionary of the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church. www.manosjuntasvimmexico.blogspot.com
We partner through our prayers, our sharing of our talents through mission teams, and our concrete support.
The Manos Juntas mission is a three-night mission over Spring Break. The team drives down to the border on Thursday and returns on Saturday. While there the team serves in many different ways like cleaning the facilities, helping cook meals, painting, holding a VBS, etc. Manos Juntas does many different types of ministry work and our mission team goes down to love on them and help in any way possible. A deposit of $50 per person is required with this application. The total cost of the mission is $117 per person, which leaves a balance of $67 per person that will be due before the trip. This covers transportation, lodging, and food.
