“Called by God to go and serve vulnerable children believing the love of Christ brings hope, transforms lives, & strengthens communities.”

Mission On The Move Inc. was founded in 1986 by Brother Ed Cadle, a retired Methodist Pastor from Springfield, GA. Mission On The Move (MOM) is an interdenominational missions organization with ministries in Mexico and Honduras, focused on sharing the Gospel with children and families, particularly orphaned and vulnerable children. MOM is a non-profit, charitable organization funded from partnerships with churches and individuals. Mission On The Move has four pillars of ministry – Discipleship, Nutrition, Education, and Family Preservation. In Mexico, our ministry provides children’s homes for orphaned and abandoned children through the child social services, called DIF. We operate three homes located in close proximity and function in family style homes with a single couple serving as house parents. As such, we have several sibling sets living
together.

Mission On The Move Mission Team

September 11-15

Our next team to Mission on the Move in Tapachula, Mexico will travel September 11-15, 2025.  This will be an 8-person all-women relief team.  Registration is open and the mission trip will cost $1,000 per person, including airfare. A $200 deposit is needed at the time of registration. There are scholarships that can be applied for as well to help cover this cost.

Team members will cook, clean, help with homework, and spend quality time with the children while the staff gets some much-needed time off.

Chapelwood has been in partnership with Mission on the Move for more than a decade.  In 2002, a home was opened for boys who lived in the prisons with their parents.  Now, the homes still continue to house children in need in the community, striving to keep siblings together.
