On April 21st, we will begin a four-week study of Paul's letter to the Philippians. Our study is entitled, "Philippians: The Epistle of Joy." We live in a society surrounded by messages of negativity and chaos, which can produce anxiety in our spirit. Paul reminds us not to be conformed to the world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind (Romans 12:2)." Paul's letter to the Philippians, written from a Roman prison, is an expression of the power of the mind renewed by the power of Christ. We may not always be in control of our circumstances, but we can ALWAYS choose our response to our circumstances. Just bring your Bible and join us at 7 am in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll have coffee, kolaches, donuts and plenty of fellowship for all!
Our study of Paul's letter will involved reading one chapter a week of this four-chapter book, in the following schedule:
April 21st - Chapter One - Choosing Celebration
April 28th - Chapter Two - Choosing Humility
May 5th - Chapter Three - Choosing Perseverance
May 12th - Chapter Four - Choosing Thanksgiving
