Disciple Bible Study: A Through the Bible Experience

Read and understand the entire Bible for spiritual transformation and lasting friendships.

The Bible reveals God’s heart. It starts in a garden in Genesis and ends in a garden in Revelation. Throughout the scriptures in the Old and New Testaments, God’s plan to love the world and be in relationship with all people is evident. People who read the whole Bible experience spiritual transformation.

Chapelwood is offering Disciple I this year. It is one of the best-known and loved “through-the-Bible” studies, bringing spiritual transformation to hundreds of thousands of people around the world during the past 20 years. At Chapelwood, Disciple has introduced both new believers and long-time Christians to the joy and strength that comes from studying the Bible with a committed group of friends.

Disciple I is a 34-week course, which gives equal time to the Old and New Testaments.  

Disciple students agree that the 34-week commitment and daily study at home are well worth the effort. Many who have started the journey with Disciple I continue on to take the subsequent courses. “Disciple has allowed me to fulfill a long-wished for study of the Bible, growing spiritually each week through the love and nurturing of a caring class, and learning so much from a gifted teacher and supportive study group,” an unnamed student shared.

Sundays, beginning August 25, 9:45 – 11:00 a.m., LC204. Cost is $32 for the study guide. The class will be led by Sara Bonario.
