- About Us
We are continuing our Zoom classes. Starting on Wednesday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m., and continuing for six weeks (through Wednesday, July 8), Rev. Tammy Heinrich will be teaching from The letter of Paul to the Philippians. This book is rather short, written by Paul while he was serving one of his numerous prison sentences. Although no one appears to know where Paul was imprisoned, it is believed that the letter was written during the latter 50's to early 60's A.D. The letter is written to Paul’s convertsat Philippi (a Roman colony in Macedonia), who send letters to gain his release and gifts to supply his needs after learning of his imprisonment. Given the fact that Paul is imprisoned, it is surprisingly joyful.
When we gather in person, our lessons emphasize the Bible and Methodist beliefs with enthusiastic class participation and fellowship. Our class membership has taken a leadership role in stewardship and service for our church and community, while continuing an active social program. Special projects include support of the Carey Sayers Memorial Library, Manna and global missions. Many Pathfinders serve on the board and event planning for the Chapelwood Foundation
During stay-at-home, Pathfinders will meet on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom for fellowship, study and prayer. Visitors are always welcome.
