Meet the Kuykendall's! This amazing family feels like they have found a home in Chapelwood that does not only encompass Amy and Cliff as a couple but as a family as a whole. A little family history, Cliff’s father, Ken Kuykendall has been an active member since 1984! After joining Chapelwood Ken formed a family foundation that Cliff wanted to continue with his family, so the legacy continued when Amy and Cliff decided to attend Chapelwood 11 years ago. Cliff actively participates with our Men’s Ministry and has been a regular attendee of the Father Daughter Dance with their two girls, Lucy (8) and Bowen (7). Amy has volunteered over the years for VBS and has attended our Mother Son Date Night with their son, Park (11). In fact Amy and Cliff have been volunteering with our 5th graders this year in the Children’s Basement! We could not be more appreciative of Amy and Cliff and their partnership in helping us to raise the next generation in faith. Park, Lucy, and Bowen love attending each week and are enthusiastic about learning and sharing their stories about God. Bowen has even asked for a guitar so she can play with our fantastic Traveling Band! When asked what they love about volunteering at Chapelwood here is what Amy and Cliff had to say, “We love witnessing the growth of God in children and seeing them do this with their peers. We feel like we are learning as we are teaching and sharing our personal experiences with the children.” Their hopes and dreams for their children are this, “We hope our childrens’ faith foundation continues to build and grow in their love for the Lord.” The Kuykendall’s feel very blessed that Chapelwood is a place where they can worship safely and encourage each other through Christ. Thank you again for your commitment, service, and Godly love Kuykendall family! #raisingagenerationinfaith #wearechapelwood #shoutoutwednesday
